Gamification is a term used to describe the game technique of teaching new concepts.

Gamification is effective because it taps into people's natural desire for competition and achievement.

Gamification is:"The application of game-design elements and game principles in non-game contexts" such as music instruction.


So how does this apply to the Music Mania Games and what they teach? EVERYTHING!


The Music Mania Games teach beginning music skills and theory by playing music games and having fun! These games encourage and facilitate the learning and understanding of music. This learning process is further enhanced as players progress through the four levels of play.
